Private In-Home Training
Private sessions provide an opportunity for the trainer to work with everyone that wants to be involved in the training process in the privacy of your own home. Personal attention is given to your specific training goals and you and your dog can progress at your own pace. There are no special requirements for private in home training.
Price:
$300 for 4 sessions.
We are currently only serving clients in a limited area for in home training. If you live outside of our area there may be additional travel fees.
Fast Track Puppy Classes
This group class is designed for you, the new puppy parent! During class, you will learn basic puppy manners and be able to socialize with other puppies and people. Basic puppy manners include: how to stop problem chewing, house soiling and other normal puppy behaviors that can become problems. The course is 4 weeks long, meeting once a week. Class size is limited to ensure that you and your dog will receive individual attention. Requirements include a copy of current vaccinations and that puppies are between the ages of 8 to 16 weeks.

Fast Track Basic Manners Training
This group class works on basic obedience and addresses problem solving for common behaviors. Group classes provide you and your dog the opportunity to meet other dogs and their owners and to train in a somewhat distracting environment. Working with your dog at home, where there are probably fewer distractions, and then working with him in class will give him a good training foundation. This will help you both succeed!
Class size is limited to ensure that you and your dog will receive individual attention. Requirements include a copy of current vaccinations (Rabies, Distemper, Parvo & Bordatella).

Consultations
This one-on-one meeting is designed to address any specific questions you may have about your dog. This can be beneficial because it pinpoints the behaviors you would like to work on. Assessments are a one-time meeting. There are no special requirements for a Behavioral Assessment.
Price: The fee for a behavioral consultation is $65.00 per hour.
A detailed written report can be requested; the fee for a written report is $50.00.
Small Breed Classes
Worried about your little dog amongst a bunch of bouncing Labs? Small dog guardians have a legitimate concern about their dog’s safety in a class full of large, exuberant dogs! Put your mind at ease and join our Small Dog Beginner training class. Tailored to dogs weighing less than 30 pounds, the class teaches all of the behaviors included in our basic Beginner class, but in an environment tailored to make learning more enjoyable and comfortable for small dogs and their guardians.

The Great Outdoors
Does your dog lunge at squirrels, eat cow poop or just jump on every person he meets? On a hike or just around the block, distractions are everywhere! Learn how to take what you have learned in classes indoors and apply it to real life situations. This 4 week class is fast paced and lots of fun. This class is held outdoors at and around the shelter.

Living With Your Dog
This fun and informative workshop provides information on how to read dog behavior, explains dog learning styles, and introduces the most fun, effective and humane dog training techniques. This workshop is beneficial for all family members so bring your family and your questions, but please leave Fido at home!

Baby Seminar
Do you have a baby in your life or are you expecting a new arrival soon? Wondering if your dog will turn into either a Lassie or a Kujo when baby arrives? Dogs and babies can be a successful combination with a little preparation and some good management strategies. Parents will learn the basics of managing dog and baby interactions as well as practical obedience commands that won't add more time and stress to a new parent's busy day.

CAT BEHAVIOR CONSULTATIONS
We also help with Cats! Cat behavior consultations are done either over the phone or in your home. We can help you address and solve behavior problems including cat to cat introductions, litter box issues, furniture scratching, excessive vocalization, fear and aggression, or train cats fun behaviors such as 'high five’, ‘come’, or ‘sit’.
